Aka, the story of my career. Some call it placeholder copy, Greek, TBD, but I’ve always called it the challenge. The blank page. The untold story. The chance to say something amazing, new. and insightful. Lorem ipsum has always made my heart pound, and always will. And with the new frontiers of AI, a tool firmly in my tool belt, (although I still firmly wear said toolbelt), my heart is racing once again.

Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (graduated with honors from the top party school in the United States, so I definitely learned to prioritize, say no, say yes, and caffeinate.) Then this happened…

Foote Cone & Belding Chicago. Spent 7 years writing print, radio & TV for everything from packaged goods to personal care to beer – but was yearning for fashion! So, when FCB San Francisco called to work on Dockers & Levis, I ran all the way across the United States and fashionably answered, yes. Spent the next 4 years as Creative Director and VP, for Dockers for women, Levis, Gallo Wines & AT&T.

As my family grew, freelance beckoned, and I am happy to say, my clientele list has steadily grown and kept me busy and up to speed as the social experience took over at light speed. From web copy, to blogging, traditional copywriting and social media to viral films, my clients include recent full-time stints at Mommy’s Bliss, Credo Beauty, Banana Republic, Movado Watches, and Biossance. Filled in the blanks with amazing freelance gigs for Reebok, Field Theory, Willow Pump, Birdies San Francisco, Priori Skincare, 23 & Me, Ann Taylor, BoodyWear, Coty fragrances, and Dior France, among others. Can’t forget my colorful local clients: Edible Marin Magazine, Tommy’s Superfoods, Guesthouse and Bungalow 44 restaurants & Sarah Oliver Handbags.
